Spring Break 2012

Spring break has come and gone and now it's time to get back into the groove of things. We kicked it with cousin sleepovers, a birthday party, baseball practices, movies, snacks and ended it at Kemah. It was fun and I'm sad Nate has to go back to school tomorrow. In just one week David has picked up so many new words. Can't wait for summer vacation to get here.

Weekend in review

Friday we went out for dinner at Mamacitas. We're really liking this place. Especially because the kids are kept busy with animal balloons.

Saturday, we had a birthday party to attend from one of Nate's classmates. It was at Shanks, a glow in the dark mini golf place. I really should've brushed myself over with a lint brush because I was covered in lint.

Sunday morning we took Nate to The Movie Tavern to watch The Lorax. It was nice to spend alone time with him. Afterwards we stopped at Old Navy to use my 30% off coupon. I finally bought my first pair of colored jeans. I can't wait to wear them this weekend.

Just woke up from a much needed nap.

March madness

Wow, I can't believe it's already March! This year sure is speeding by. I am excited for this month. Nate starts baseball for the YMCA and I just found out he's playing for the Chicago White Sox...go Nate! Plus his daddy is gonna be able to take him to practices which he couldn't do last year since he was in the academy. Also spring break is around the corner so we're planning on taking the kiddos to the rodeo or Kemah.
Now , I'm just waiting on the guys to come back with my nachos and papaya licuado(;
